How would you feel if you woke up from a coma to find the hospital deserted and in ruins. Bodies laying about dismembered and a big, locked door that says: "Do Not Open". Well, Rick Grimes doesn't have wonder about all that because it's exactly what happens to him.

Based on the Graphic Novel of the same name, this TV show focuses on a band of people and their struggle to survive the Zombie apocalypse in southern USA. And in their survival, they might just find that humans are often tougher to live with than the zombies...


The show initially aired on Halloween night, and only has 6 episodes in season 1.(But season 2 has already been booked with 13 episodes.)

So if you've seen it, what do you think? If you haven't seen it, does it sound like something you'd watch?

I thought it was a pretty damn good series. Granted I didn't catch EVERY episode, it was a pretty awesome series. Almost like watching a zombie flick each week. ;D

Never saw it what channel does it come on?

It played on AMC on Sundays.

I liked it. The zombies were pretty well done. They were somewhere between slow and fast so they could be avoided but at the same time on foot it provided dramatic tension know they could move quicker to chase you.

I also liked the way they showed how the zombification process. That was a neat little display.

The end of season 1 though leaves a lot of questions to be answered. Where will they go now? What will they do? Why, oh why, didn't they grab a ton of those M16s and ammo clips when they had the chance. (Few-no zombies around, plenty of dead soldiers with weapons by them.)

Though what would you do if a zombie apocalypse happened?

Bumping this because season 2 has begun airing. It opens with another 2 hour long special (which is a pretty good way to open a series/season I think.)
