This manga was a rather surprising read for me. I heard the name and thought it would be cool. So I read it.

The basic premise is that Japan is at war. The war has been going on for some time (I don't recall if they ever state exactly how long it's been going on though.) One day, a bomber levels part of the city Sapporo then is suddenly taken out by a small but very high speed fighter. The main character, Shuji, is caught in the area. He survives mostly uninjured. While he is there though he catches a glimpse of the fighter. It turns out that the person responsible for taking down the enemy craft was his girlfriend, Chise! Furthermore, she has been fitted, cybernetically, with advanced weapon systems. Now Shuji and Chise stuggle with this secret while the war rages on.

The art style was pretty simple. But it worked pretty well.

I think this manga is a really good read, definitely something worth looking at.
