The Legend of Zelda: Shadows of the Past

3 Years ago, Link fought the Twilight world magician named Zant who had been corrupted and manipulated by Ganondorf into breaking the seal between the Light and Twilight realms. Link later faced Ganondorf and sealed him away again. In doing so the Twilight realm was saved but the connection between the two worlds was severed. The Twilight Zelda used her power to break the only known portal just before she returned home thus ensuring the portal was closed for good.

Now... strange phenomena are beginning to happen across Hyrule again. Strange beings that shine an eerie silver are appearing. At the center of the disturbance is a portal. Every now and then it erupts a ray of light and another silver being bursts forth. The seal that closed the realms has weakened again.

Link ventured forth to investigate the portal on his own. As he drew close though, a light shot from the portal and manifested as a massive claw. It hooked Link and drew him into the portal. The very second Link touched the gleaming watery-like surface of the portal, Link's Triforce reacted and beams of gold burst from the portal.

Link awoke a short time later, his triforce flickering and glowing, he discovered he had landed in a strange location. Neither wholly of the Light nor of the Dark. The portal that had dropped him here had created a middle zone where the light and dark were overlapping. Link watched as a Dark world citizen was consumed by the light and transformed into a silver creature and shot out into the light world. Similarly, a light world being was transformed into a pitch black being. The overlap was causing the disturbance...

Link attempted to exit the interim-world, but each time he tried he was dropped back into center. Unable to exit normally, Link decided to try using his Triforce power.
He engaged the Triforce and walked through the portal again. When he awoke next, he found himself in the world of the Twilight. But something was amiss. As he stood up, next to him were 3 other Links. Red, Blue and Purple along with his own Green. Each of them were slowly getting up, getting their bearings while discovering the fact that they were looking into copies of themselves.

The power of the Triforce had allowed him to pass through the portal to the other side... but had split him into 4 in the process. Green Link attempted to try his Triforce again, but nothing happened. Green Link sighed as he looked to the others... Trapped in the Twilight realm with no way home and 3 other versions of himself.

"I suppose we should head to the Twilight Castle first." One of the Links finally stated.

So this is a pretty simple RP for up to 4 people. We all play as Link (or a version of him) and we roughly know Link's skills so no reason to have a real character sheet for it. Just reply here with what colour link you'd like to play and we're good. The personalities are blank and will be up to you to fill in while we play.
