Sunnybrook, a small town in the middle of no-where's ville USA. Situated in the middle of the US. A peaceful little town of about 1700 people. At least it was until "The Event". Afterwards people, formerly normal people, started displaying miraculous new powers. Stories cropped up of humans in the town being able to fly, shoot lightning from their fingers, turn their skin into something resembling steel yet possessing the flexibility of flesh.

The sudden addition of powers has twisted the town's residents. Formerly polite and gentle people now have turned into rampaging monsters, their power having corrupted them. (The leader of the group is the town's librarian, Mr. Clarkson.) Word leaked out of the occurrences and the military was quickly called in to contain the town. Taking up a wide perimeter around the town they now barricade the populace in and shoot down anything that attempts to leave. So far, no one who has tried to leave has returned alive. Supplies are airdropped into the town at regular intervals, but the more powerful residents have taken to claiming them.

People are getting tired of the tyranny of the few. People are starting to band together to overthrown the oppressors. A revolution is coming...

Since we're dealing with super powers, naturally there are going to be some that aren't allowed. Instant death, mind-control and mind-reading are forbidden. Each character is also allowed only 1 power.
