So apparently it is a reality. Again directed by Michael Bay and it's coming June 29th 2014.

This new film is set in the existing Transformers universe though it's being billed as a reboot-sequel in which they're getting rid of most of the cast (read: the human characters) and are going to focus on the real reason everyone wants a transformers movie... The giant robots and their war.

So... does this sound interesting at all? Are you going to miss the human characters? (Why or why not.)

Based on what has been stated at this point, will you got see this movie when it comes out?

I'm surprisingly okay with this. The only thing Michael Bay is good at is making giant explosions, and in a movie where all I care about is combat between giant robots I have no issue.

I never went to see Transformers 3, I know next to nothing about it. But the humans easily the worst part of the first two movies, if you removed them and threw out all that pointless drama about their shallow relationships and all the bad jokes... then we might get to see an actual plot develop. And not the simplistic sort of plots we've been treated to thus far, we'd actually get an opportunity for something cool to develop under the surface - and then there'd actually be an excuse to make more movies.

At the present we go because we want to see giant robots fight. There is no other appeal to me, and clearly for me it wasn't even enough of a draw to make me see the third installment.

The human part really ruined the first three movies still the reason you watch transformers is for the giant robots laying waste on each other. Sure the gen 1 cartoon though cheesy at times was nonstop action with the occassional witty or cheesy banter what makes bayformers so infamous is the damn jokes with puns upon puns is what killed it for me in the first two movies I haven't seen the third so I have no opinion on it yet.

For the most part bay to me is useless he hasn't had real good film since what armageddon? I whould prefer someone else to handle this personally because to me the stories for me are all dissappointing and too predictable.

Still if he balanced out the movies correctly between the humans and the robots I think these films would have done better. As in who gives a damn about the humans where is the giant robots? Oh right they are diguised. Still I don't care about the human banter the movies are about the sentiant robots not about Shia's characters mating with Fox or whoever the the other person is.

So if he does this right as it should of have been in the first three films then I'd say its better.
